Water-melon-Skin-Thoran

 Watermelon Skin Benefits

Watermelon skin is rich fiber. Another benefit of watermelon weightloss high fiber has a  whole host of health benefits. Fiber helps maintain regular bowl movements and may help reduce the risk of developing the disease of the colon.






Ingredients

1.Chopped Watermelon peel 2 cup

2. Coconut Oil - 1 Teaspoon    
 
3. Mustard - 1 Teaspoon

4. Bengal Gram (kadala parippu) - 1 Teaspoon

5. Curry Leaves - 1 Stalk

6. Green Chilly - 2 No

7. Shedded Coconut - 2 Table Spoon 

8. Salt -  to Taste


Preparation

While it is hot in the cooker stove, pour a teaspoon of oil in it. When the oil heats up, add mustard seeds and when it starts to crack add bengal gram (kadala parippu) and brown it. Peel a squash grate it and add salt to taste. After the whistle is blown add coconut and green chillies, stir well and serve hot.
