Banana Leaf thoran Healthy and Tasty

    

Young banana leaves can also be used to make delicious thoran. 



Banana flower and Banana stalk are not only delicious food but also very good for health. It is also very good for people with kidney stone to squeeze bananas stalk and drink the juice. Banana leaves are not only good for serving but also for making thoran.


Ingrediants

1. Young banana leaves - 2

2. Coconut - half

3. Cuminseed - 1/4 teaspoon

4. Garlic - 3 no

5. Greenchilly - 2 no

6. Turmeric Powder- 1/4 teaspoon

7. Salt - to taste

8. Coconut oil - one table spoon

9. Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon

10. Dry red chilly - 2 no


  How to prepare

Finaly chop the washed and cleaned banana leaves. Add crushed coconut, garlic,cumin seed,green chilly and a little turmeric powder. Heat oil in a saucepan and add mustard seeds and grated chillies. Add chopped banana leaves, greated coconut and salt mix well cover and steam.



    ( Change the grated coconut as the number of banana leaves taken increases. Be sure to take young banana leaves as well)
